Oversee the configuration, customization, and optimization of Opera Property Management System (PMS) and Symphony Central Reservations System (CRS) to meet the unique needs of the hotel.
Provide technical support and training to hotel staff on Opera and Symphony systems, ensuring proficiency in utilizing these tools for daily operations.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and reliability of systems.
Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement innovative solutions to improve guest experience and streamline processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Opera and Symphony systems, recommending best practices and strategies for optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of Opera and Symphony systems.
In-depth knowledge of Opera PMS and Symphony CRS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and customization.
Experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
Fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
