The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a senior level position within a well-established consulting firm. The role of the contracts manager will be to manage construction contracts as well as the RE/QA team on site. He/she will work closely with the design engineer to ensure that the design is constructed as intended, he/she will be responsible to attend and chair the progress meetings, review the minutes before they are distributed and will attend regular site visits to ensure the necessary QA procedures are followed, he/she will review, comment and approve the contractor’s works programme and review and comment on the contractor’s progress against the approved programme so he/she must have a good understanding of production rates and scheduling of civil construction works. He/she will do the determination on claims where J&W is appointed as the Engineer or Employer’s Agent and he/she will provide input to the Project Manager (NEC CONTRACTS) in evaluations of CE’s and other claims.
