The Principal Mining Engineer will be responsible for conducting due diligence for internal stakeholders and support the various trading desks. They will be working as part of a multinational team of metallurgists, mining engineers and geologists. The position reports to the Head of Technical Support, TMG. The candidate will be preferably based in the Trafigura Montevideo office. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:• Provide written input to due diligence reports.• Financial evaluation of mineral projects.• Project site visits and interactions with and/or management of external consultants.• Project risk assessments and mitigation.• Liaise with trading teams on mineral project assessments.
