Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa The main purpose of the job is to administer all claim assessments, assessor appointments, corresponding with brokers and service providers and attending to claim documentation. It further involves building relationships with brokers by responding to queries and other outstanding matters and saving of claim correspondence. Accurate registration of new claims Claim assessment within the parameters of the wordings Prepare matters for presentation at Claims Committee Correspondence with brokers, assessors etc. Adherence to company SLAs Accurate reserving Attend to all queries Maintenance / administration of schemes Correspondence: hard copies & e-mail Diary management and follow up Matric Legal and/or Business degree (or studying towards) would be an advantage Minimum 2 Years Engineering Insurance Claims Experience will be an advantage RE5 Qualification will be an advantage Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel Power Point and Microsoft Outlook Personal Qualities Accuracy Team player Excellent communication skills, verbal and written  Turnaround time The shortlisting process will only start once the application due date has been reached.
