Life of a Vulnerability and Penetration Engineer: You will work closely with our Practice architects and other security Consultants to deliver A-quality Security Services to high-end clients. Here’s how: Conduct thorough penetration testing and Vulnerability assessments on web applications, networks, and systems to identify and address security vulnerabilities with clients. Perform both manual and automated testing techniques to simulate real-world cyber threats. Occasional experiments with various methods attackers could use to exploit information security vulnerabilities. Use Adaptable penetration techniques from White hat to Black hat hacking Conduct physical security assessments of servers, systems and network devices. Infiltrating networks by using social engineering tactics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving security posture. Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and the latest security technologies. Requirements Mandatory (and minimum) skills requirements: Matric Proven 5+ years’ experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking or a related role. Knowledge of security testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (OWASP, NIST, SANS, etc.) Exposure to security testing scenarios e.g. Capture the Flag / Red Team / Blue Team is desirable. Solid knowledge of IT security (Firewalls, Local Traffic Managers, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Security related certifications such as OSCP, CEPT, CMWAPT, LPT, OSCE, CEH, CREST are desirable.
