Responsibilities:
Develop and implement demand planning strategies and processes to drive accurate forecasting and optimise inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to gather relevant data and insights to enhance demand forecasts. Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and identify potential risks and opportunities. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Lead a team of demand planners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators and departmental goals. Continuously monitor and evaluate demand planning performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with the procurement team to align purchasing plans with demand forecasts and ensure optimal inventory levels. Drive demand planning process improvements, leveraging technology and tools to streamline operations and enhance forecasting accuracy. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in demand planning and incorporate them into the company's strategies and processes.
