Overall Objectives
The Research Manager will support the Rx Y team in managing all phases of market research for a large volume of primary market research projects within set timelines, ensuring high quality standards and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Daily communication (email and telephone) with pharmaceutical clients to ensure studies are designed to meet their business needs and to keep them updated regarding project status
Conducting project kick-off meetings with client and Research Director/Account Director
Responsible for generating as well as maintaining project timelines
Questionnaire design, review and formatting
Working with cross-functional team to coordinate translation, programming and data analysis phases, including close liaison (collaborating with Programming team to test links and supporting the Coding and Data Analysis team in getting data coded and tabulated.
Develop close working relationship with Project Managers to ensure fielding timings are met
Creating analysis plans and structure of report deliverables (working alongside Charting team to develop charts)
Development of written reports for clients
Troubleshooting any potential project issues and proactively generating solutions
Helping support the business development activities of sales staff

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (i.e. life sciences or business)
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in quantitative market research including writing questionnaires and servicing clients
Understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare market research fieldwork process an advantage
Demonstrated knowledge of market research and ability to perform & execute complex projects, demonstrated excellence in project management
Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal)

Aptitude for critical thinking
Strong attention to detail
Thorough knowledge or understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience with SPSS a benefit.
