The postrequires impeccability in every aspect of the qualification’s academicintegrity, student support, academic content development, evaluation,moderation, assessment of learning as well as supporting SAE Institute’s visionand mission. Requirements Essential Qualifications & Experience: ● Initial bachelor’s degree (NQF Level7) Qualification needs to be in related field (Animation and Motion Design, Digital Arts etc.) ● A minimum of 2 years lecturing /teaching experience within higher education ● Experience in the field of 2 D or 3 D animationof a minimum of 2 years preferred. ● Experience in Online Facilitation andworkshop facilitation skills in an academic or training environment of aminimum of 2 years preferred. ● Demonstrate knowledge and experiencein 2 D tradigital and cutout animation and relevant software (preferablytoonboomharmony, Adobe software suite, particularly Photoshop and possibly Adobe Animate (or similar 2 D animation software) ● Demonstrate Knowledge and experiencein 3 D animation, sculpting and software (preferably Blender) ● Online facilitation experience beneficial,with fundamental understanding of curriculum and assessment management andimprovement and gradebook management. ● Proficient in Learning Management Systems and MS Office computer software ● Strong admin ability ● Skills in either storyboarding, assetcreation/concept art (for games) or motion graphics is an additional requirement. ● Possess communication, interpersonalskills, administration skills, be organised and possess good time management skills. ● Collaborative and willing to work withfellow lecturers and the HOA to support students. ● Knowledge of academic compliancewithin the higher education sector ● Proficient in computer software, apps,social media, and technology in general
