Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, prepare accurate financial reports, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor financial performance against targets, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Risk Management: Assess financial risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to safeguard the firm's assets and reputation. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes in the financial services industry, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and coordinate with regulatory authorities as needed. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic financial plans that drive business growth, enhance competitiveness, and maximize shareholder value. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, foster a culture of excellence and accountability, and mentor junior staff members to support their professional development. Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial services products, markets, and regulations. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting. Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
