Summary:

Heart & Soil is seeking a dynamic and innovative Paid Media Content Strategist to spearhead our paid media creative strategy. You will lead the creative and strategic development of content across various paid advertising platforms. Your role will be instrumental in driving performance marketing results, enhancing product sales, and expanding our customer base.

You possess:

Deep Experience in Paid Media Campaigns: You have a rich background in creating and executing content strategies for major ad platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and Tik Tok for CPG brands. Your experience enables you to navigate these platforms with ease, leveraging their unique features for maximum campaign impact.

Mastery in Short-Form Video Content: In today's fast-paced digital landscape, you understand the power and potential of short-form video content. You have a proven track record of strategizing and executing compelling video content that resonates with diverse audiences. Your creative approach in this medium has successfully captured attention, engaged viewers, and driven significant results for paid media campaigns.

Analytics-Driven Decision Making: You are adept at interpreting paid media performance metrics, and you utilize this data to guide your strategic decisions. Your approach is both analytical and creative; you know how to read the numbers and translate them into actionable insights that refine and optimize content strategy. This includes understanding metrics like click-through rates, engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies.

Innovative Content Strategy Development: You are innovative, creative, and an outside-the-box thinker. Your experience in creative strategy exemplifies your dedication to pushing boundaries and finding areas of opportunity. You excel in developing content plans that align with business goals, audience preferences, and current market trends. You understand the importance of storytelling, brand voice, and audience engagement in crafting strategies that not only attract but also retain customer interest.

Collaboration & Communication: As a key player in our Marketing Growth team, you bring a collaborative spirit and effective communication skills. You know how to work with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and research teams, to develop and implement effective content strategies. Your ability to lead, inspire, and drive projects forward is crucial in this role.

What You Will Do:

Develop and execute innovative performance marketing concepts to boost product sales and new customer acquisition on Meta, X, Tiktok, and other ad platforms as-needed

Serve as the creative leader in performance marketing, balancing art and science in your approach

Create and maintain a database of creative angles and messaging, by SKU, with performance metrics and insights

Conceptualize campaign strategies for product sales and customer acquisition

Work directly with the Senior Media Buyer to identify areas of opportunity, strategize for organizational marketing moments, and optimize ad-spend allocation

Collaborate closely with the video & design teams to test, iterate, optimize, and scale creative

Lead the creation of detailed creative briefs, including copy direction, wire-framing for landing pages, and collaborating with creators and video editors

Coordinate production schedules with internal on-camera talent and video production teams

Stay up to date on industry trends and platform updates to maintain effective marketing efforts

Lead cross-functional teams in project management to ensure timely campaign execution

Who You Are:

3+ years in a strategic creative role, with a preference for paid media preferred (will consider individuals with related experience in organic social media strategy)

Proven success in product marketing paid media campaign content production preferred (will consider individuals with related experience in organic social media content production)

Experience in developing successful creative briefs

Experience working with content production teams

Expertise in audience research and targeting

Experience in product messaging, angles and marketing

Exceptional creativity, conceptual thinking, and communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects

Strong knowledge of the social media ads landscape and performance marketing tactics (will consider individuals with related experience in organic social media tactics)
