A minimum of 5 years previous working experience in a personal short-term insurance (commercial experience would be an advantage) either as a Servicing/Sales Agent, Broker or Insurer. Bancassurance experience preferable. Additional Information Strong interpersonal skills Networking and Relationship building skills Research and Analysis A sound knowledge and understanding of Insurance principles and practices, including an understanding of personal private banking and private clients banking space, processes and requirements. A good working knowledge of the FSCA, Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). A sound knowledge of short-term insurance sales principles and practices to manage an optimise portfolio retention and growth. Good knowledge to analyse other underwriters offering, policy terms and conditions and to compare cover to the SIL offering and individual product offering and information. Identify gaps in existing policy terms and conditions and be able to close these gaps with the correct products and cover.
